Ros paints a diversity of subjects using oils, watercolour and acrylics to create colour and drama and also enjoys building collage for texture. Her grandfather was a painter, excited by modern artists such as Klimt, Kandinsky and Vlaminck and her mother was a graphic artist who studied under Hesketh Hubbard. Ros has studied with the Open College of Art and with some inspirational tutors including Richard Webb, Jenny Mather, Stephen Rose and Peter Partington. Ros is currently Chairman of the Royal Tunbridge Wells Art Society and as a member she exhibits regularly at No. 61 The Pantiles. She has also exhibited at Bankside Gallery in London and at Chartwell, Sevenoaks. Her work has been sold abroad to Germany, the USA, Australia and throughout the UK.
